On the move!!!

Life moves quickly when you have kids.... actually life always moves fast when you aren't ready for it. It was only last week, that our little girl began her exploration of crawling. What a great feeling it was when I went to pick her up and she crawled across the room into my arms... and that grin of her delight.

Haley had been trying for weeks to get the groove of crawling. She'd get on all 4s and rock. She'd watch as her brother, cousin and even parents and friends would try to show her how to crawl... but Haley just couldn't figure out the co-ordination of moving those hands and feet without falling on her face. With her fall, she'd get herself back up and try again. But it was Jan. 22, that marked her successful crawl across a room to reach her destination... MOMMY :)

And then... I got the text yesterday... a photo text.... Haley had gotten to daycare around 10:45 yesterday. And by 11:30, I got the photo sent to me. My baby had crawled over and pulled herself to a standing position to get a toy. Was it a fluke? NO... she did it all day long. PHOTOS

The big question is... are we ready... NO.. who ever is. Haley's curiosity gives her a determination that propels her into the next developmental stage. Sure crawling isn't a milestone but for a baby who was born 7 wks early.... she's hitting those milestones, right on time!!
