Sounds good, right? Well, we were very excited until we got a letter a couple wks b/f we left that a fire in November gutted the bowling alley. So when we arrived in early March, there were many renovations going on.
This vacation was a swap using my dad's timeshare week... so I can't complain about loosing a lot of $$ on this trip.
We tried to utilize all the resort amenities... but with a toddler named Haley, it made things a bit challenging. The weather was rainy and some snow and ice but there wasn't any winter sports happening for us. We used the indoor pool almost every day. Dan and Evan went to the indoor water park solo and then with us girls... and it was fun.. So much fun we did go back later in the week.
We played tennis and even racquetball. Tennis was loved by all and yet racquetball was NOT loved by those under the age of 5. Basketball wasn't too desirable b/c it was so cold and the hoops were too high for Evan.
As the week went on, we realized that we needed to refrain from the pool as the chlorine was doing a number on Evan's skin. So we traveled an hour to the Crayola Crayon factory and discovery center.
