As her birthday fell during the Easter weekend and my very busy time at work, we decided to have a small party. In all honesty, after Evan's blow out First birthday party and me falling sick soon after it started, I didn't want to plan a huge thing and then get disappointed.

As I know you want to know :0 What is Haley been up to lately? She loves to eat!! She loves to chew and eat whatever food we are eating... especially if it has a crunch to it! And if she doesn't want to eat it, she'll shake her head... no!
She's still cruising around crawling everywhere. She is rapidly mastering pulling herself to standing in order to be able to reach something. There is always something in it for her :) She hasn't tried to 'walk' yet. However, she has started walking using her push toy and is loving it!! She gets so excited. And when she gets 'stuck' she'll shimmy it until it's free to go straight again.
And the other bit of news I'm sure everyone wants to know? Is she talking? Her first official word is dada. My college education in linguistics taught me that dada is the easiest for a baby "worldwide" to say. So I'm OK with that. Her first sentence came this past weekend as her daddy had to go into the office on Sunday morning.... she said "bye bye, daddy"... it wasn't clear as day but clear to all in the room, including a 3 year old!!
