Evan's Birthday

November... the leaves have fallen, the temperature has dropped and Evan has turned 2!!! We had a small celebration on Saturday and it ended up being a good day. Evan got to know his cousins and his aunt and uncles better. And he definitely got the idea of opening gifts... so I am looking forward to Christmas morning.

Evan's First Real Halloween

So Evan went Trick-or-Treating for the first time for real this year. Last year, seeing as though he hadn't figured out how to use his legs yet, we just carried him to a couple of our neighbors' houses. But this time 'round we worked the neighborhood for all it was worth. Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but he hit a good 20 houses, and I think that's a hell of a start for a not even two-year-old. As you can see below he was a very cute Darth Vader. It wasn't our first costume choice, but the Elmo costume fell through kinda last second so we had to scramble. Evan isn't really the evil sith type though. Next year we'll see if he can find a Han - I think Evan can pull off scoundrel.
